At Miralta Dental Care, we practise dentistry for the whole family. From preventive education & regular hygiene to identifying & caring for dental issues that may arise, your continued oral health is our top priority.
We offer in-office digital x-rays for your convenience. Digital x-rays are computer-generated images. These images are different than conventional film-type x-rays. Instead of using the traditional silver-oxide x-ray film, the new system takes pictures via a small electronic sensor & instantaneously transmits a picture of the tooth onto the video monitor in the treatment room. Therefore, we can see your teeth & surrounding structures immediately. Feel free to contact us for more details or to make an appointment!
We offer restorative care. We know that even when you do everything right, something can go wrong. If you are suffering from a dental problem, we are here to help. Whether the cause is accident or disease, we can restore your smile.
Dental Implant Placements & Restorations
Dental implants are man-made replacements for natural teeth. The implants themselves are artificial tooth roots anchored in the gum or jawbone, on which replacement teeth are permanently secured. Because implanted teeth are fixed in the mouth rather than being removable like dentures, they allow a return to the comfort & function of natural teeth. Increased chewing ability means you can enjoy more nutritious foods, which can contribute to your overall health & well-being.
At Miralta Dental Care, we have elected to only use fillings made of tooth-coloured materials that contain no metals or mercury. Your safety & smile are our primary concerns!
Having a great smile can make a huge difference in the way you look & feel. For this reason, Miralta Dental Care offers cosmetic treatments to our patients. We begin with a detailed smile assessment, discussing with you which aspects you like & dislike about your smile. Once our assessment is complete, we will discuss with you treatment options to help your smile look more natural & healthy.
Having straight teeth is important for both health & appearance. Not only do we have traditional metal braces, but we also offer subtler varieties. One option is clear braces, which straighten teeth without calling attention to the fact that you have braces. To learn more about our orthodontic options, please contact Miralta Dental Care today!
Traditional Metal Braces
Traditional braces can provide treatment for a wide range of orthodontic problems, including bad bites, crooked or crowded teeth & misalignment. Braces consist of metal brackets that are attached to the teeth & fitted with an arched wire that gently shifts your teeth into the desired position. Having straight teeth doesn’t just mean a beautiful smile: a normal bite reduces the potential for tooth decay, gum disease, tooth loss, poor speech or chewing & jaw problems. Traditional metal braces are often the least expensive option for achieving a straight, healthy smile!
Invisalign® Clear Orthodontics
Invisalign® is the virtually invisible way to help you get straight, even teeth without noticeable metal braces. Virtually undetectable, Invisalign® aligners are made of strong, clear plastic that gradually guide your teeth into perfect alignment. Tooth impressions are made, from which Invisalign® develops customized aligners that will slide directly over your teeth. Aligners are typically worn full-time (except when eating or drinking) for 12-48 months—no longer than you would wear traditional metal braces. Aligners are replaced every two weeks as your teeth shift into place.
